Crystal Mortar Awards 2026

The Crystal Mortar Awards (International Drug Chemistry Conference R&D Awards) ceremony will be held for the 7th time on the opening day of the 14th International Drug Chemistry Conference, scheduled for Thursday, February 5, 2026.

On behalf of the 14th International Drug Chemistry Conference family, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the award-winning companies and look forward to welcoming you at the opening ceremony to receive your awards.

The awards have been determined across eight categories. The first two categories are special awards designated by the Organizing Committee of the Conference, while the other six categories are based on the 2024 R&D Centers Data published by Turkishtime (*https://turkishtimedergi.com/arge500/index.html). The categories and the names of the award-winning pharmaceutical companies are listed below.

Recognizing Excellence in Industry Scientific Publications

To emphasize the pharmaceutical industry’s contributions to science and its role in driving innovation, the Congress Organizing Committee introduced this award category for the first time in 2025. Following its successful launch, the award will continue in 2026 to honor outstanding scientific publications by the pharmaceutical industry.

Based on the evaluation criteria outlined below, four publications were selected for recognition. This section is intentionally retained in part to provide transparency regarding the evaluation methodology applied during the assessment process.

Award Criteria:

  • Publications must be authored or co-authored by pharmaceutical industry professionals and must include the company address.
  • Evaluations consider the journal’s impact factor (based on Web of Science: https://wos-journal.info/) as well as the publication’s scientific relevance and contribution to technological advancement.
  • Eligible publications must have been published in 2024–2025.
  • Each company’s best publication is evaluated.
  • A company may receive only one award in this category.
